American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring cardiac drip and dementia management experience with a NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Stepdown unit within a regional referral medical center
• Adult-geriatric patient population
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Will float to Kingsbury unit as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NH RN license (or compact) required in-hand prior to profile upload
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Dementia experience/management required
• NIHSS certification strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have personal vehicle due to lack of public transportation in the area

Additional Information

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient care team members
• Traveler must provide own professional scrubs with no logos
• Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Time off requests must be finalized prior to submission, with a maximum of 5 days accepted
• Block scheduling is not accommodated for this position
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
