Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion unit position within an academic medical center, requiring ONS certification and prior oncology infusion experience.

Details

• Work in a 60-bed/chair infusion unit within the Division of Hematology-Oncology at an academic medical center
• 36-hour Days schedule (7a-7p or 8a-8p) with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (NURSYS and BON verification required; conditional licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• ONS certification required
• 3+ years of nursing experience overall
• 2+ years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center
• 1+ years of outpatient experience required
• 1+ years of travel nursing experience required
• Strong IV and assessment skills
• Experience with complex GI regimens

Additional Information

• Provide infusion therapy and nursing care to hematology-oncology patients
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Boston and will receive a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
