Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Emergency Department position requiring pediatric ED triage and trauma experience along with TNCC, PALS, and CPI or MOAB certifications.

Details

• Work in a 35-bed Pediatric Emergency Department, including 21 ER beds plus a 3rd floor area for fast tracks and surgical suite
• Pediatric patient population presenting with general ED, mental health, and trauma cases
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 for standard acuity and 1:6 for lower acuity
• Tech to patient ratio of 1:8
• 24/7 support staff available
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI or MOAB
• Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric ED experience required
• At least 6 months of triage experience required
• At least 6 months of trauma experience required
• General pediatric ED care experience required
