American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring pressor titration skills and Epic experience.

Details

• Nursing Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratios between 1:3 and 1:5
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks while on shift
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required (Fri, Sat, Sun for nights)
• 13-week assignment with weekly Monday start dates

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS-AHA certification required
• ACLS-AHA and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Must be able to titrate pressors
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred, required if no prior travel experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass day one pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season

Additional Information

• Care for progressive care patients with float coverage to multiple units as needed
• Day one competency testing administered with Relias practice tests available for preparation
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius, and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet Level 1 trauma requirements
