American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 14-week assignment requiring active CA RN licensure and recent critical care experience.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
• 10-hour day shifts scheduled 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week over a 14-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
• Licenses and certifications must be active (not pending) for consideration
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Procedural Sedation Competency preferred
• 2+ years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in PACU, preferred
• 2+ years of pediatric clinical care experience, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU, preferred
• 2+ years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in an outpatient setting preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures preferred

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients following surgical procedures
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
