Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN with a TN or compact license and 1+ years of MS/Tele experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Level III trauma center.

Details

• Medical Surgical Combination unit serving patients of all ages
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation is every other weekend
• Call requirements are as needed
• Floating may be required to similar med/surg units
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Charts in Meditech EHR

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1+ years of RN experience required
• MS/Tele experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start

Additional Information

• Level III Trauma Center
• Provide quality nursing care within a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
• Any scrub color accepted; casual wear not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• First-time travelers may be considered
