Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room professional with a VA or compact license and multi-specialty scrub/circulate experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 11 surgical suites
• Handles 25-35 cases per day
• Case types include Ortho, Neuro, Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Spine, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast
• Evening shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Shifts are assigned with no block scheduling options
• On-call requirement of 2-4 call shifts per week, including overnights and weekends
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics cases required

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Floor-specific orientation is 1 week (2 weeks for night shift)
