Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Health RN to support caregiver health screenings and compliance in a non-direct patient care setting, requiring a WA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Details

• Occupational Health department within a caregiver health setting
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No direct patient care provided
• New in-house EHR system used (EPIC is no longer used)
• Open to both local and traveling candidates

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• 2 supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem)

Additional Information

• Perform new hire health screenings, administer vaccines, manage blood and body fluid exposures, provide respiratory protection training, and manage communicable disease cases
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local for this position
