American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN with 2+ years of cardiac/tele experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift assignment requiring active CA licensure.

Details

• Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac/Telemetry nursing experience required
• Required experience with Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and Dopamine drips
• Experience with Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post CABG, and Pre/Post TAVR patients required
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide cardiac telemetry nursing care including monitoring and management of high-acuity cardiac patients
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Accepts local candidates at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
