Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position requiring a VA or compact RN license and specialty experience within the last year.

Details

• Long Term Care unit within a skilled nursing/rehabilitation facility setting
• Full-time night shift schedule, 7 PM to 7:30 AM, alternating three and four shifts per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) responsibilities required
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs
• Uses PointClickCare charting system

Requirements

• Active VA RN license or compact license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• PointClickCare charting experience required
• Specialty experience within the last year required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a long term care/skilled nursing setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
• Candidates cannot work both travel and per diem assignments simultaneously at this facility
• Prior permanent employees must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible for travel assignment
• Requested time off (RTO) should be minimal, ideally none for a full calendar week and no more than 7 days total, and must be included in the initial submission
