American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for an Adult Behavioral Health unit requiring CPI/MOAB de-escalation training and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

Behavioral-Adult Unit setting
Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
16-week contract length
2 out of 3 holiday commitment required
Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

Active KS or Compact RN license required
BLS certification (AHA) required
CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course required (online portion prior to start, on-site portion completed at orientation)
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients
On-site CPI/MOAB High-Risk training portion completed during orientation
Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
