American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and multiple critical care certifications.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Emergency Department
• Caring for all ED patient types including adults and pediatrics
• 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses MEDITECH EMR
• 12-hour orientation with a pass/fail skills exam requiring a 90% score to continue the assignment

Requirements

• Active NE or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Driver's license required at time of consideration to confirm residence location
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates may not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to remove them will result in contract termination
