American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a 13-week acute inpatient contract requiring recent behavioral health experience and an MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting treating all ages including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Treats behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders across detox, inpatient, and residential levels of care
• 13-week contract on a reopening unit
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7a-7p
• Required to work every other weekend
• Uses paper charting

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• 1 year of recent (within the last year) experience in Behavioral Health/Psych required
• Experience with paper charting

• Provide personalized, age-appropriate psychiatric care across a wide range of patient populations
• Support short-term stabilization for acute patients as well as long-term residential treatment programs
• Candidates residing within a 30-mile radius are eligible for local rates, with those beyond the radius eligible for travel rates
