American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU RN with required PCVICU experience for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU with a 12-bed overflow unit
• Patient population includes congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and VAD patients
• Age range spans neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult CHD patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU status and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU overflow patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS (AHA required for BLS and ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 18 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients across a wide age range and acuity spectrum
