American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk L&D experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center and current IL licensure.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule from 6:45P to 7:15A
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• High-risk labor & delivery experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing standards and policies
• Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient plans of care in coordination with physicians
• Documents care according to established standards
• Participates in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to support patients' longitudinal plans of care
• Uses critical thinking to prioritize patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
