American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit position requiring IV, blood transfusion, and wound care skills with a 60-mile radius requirement for travel eligibility.

Details

• Inpatient Rehab Unit within a hospital setting
• Geriatric and adult patient population
• Common diagnoses include strokes, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro conditions
• 32-bed unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule from 7am to 7pm
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Experience with IVs, blood transfusions, and wound care required
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Rehab specialty experience preferred but not required
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Scrub color requirement: navy or royal blue
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
