American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital, requiring an active PA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent BH/Psych experience.

Details

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting
• Treats adults through geriatric patients, with adolescent services opening in April
• Manages mental health, behavioral disorders, substance abuse, and addiction cases
• Staffing ratio approximately 1:20 depending on patient acuity
• Documents in Epic, with paper charting used for restraint documentation
• Uses Omnicell medication system with onsite pharmacy open 24/7
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts from 8PM to 8AM
• Weekends and holidays assigned as needed

Requirements

• Active PA license or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Behavioral Health/Psych required
