American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a 13-week acute inpatient assignment requiring an active PA or compact RN license and recent behavioral health experience.

Details

• Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting in a brand new facility
• Four housing units with 24 beds each, including one unit dedicated to children and adolescents
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7:30a, with weekends and holidays as assigned
• Uses Epic EMR
• Rural location with limited rideshare options

Requirements

• Active PA license or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health/psych required
• Handle With Care Psych certification can be obtained on site; candidates should submit current certification if held

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within an inpatient psychiatric setting on a newly opened facility still ramping up staffing and expanding bed capacity
• Candidates should have patience given the facility is new to the Geisinger platform in partnership with Acadia Healthcare
• Local candidates accepted; a 30-mile radius rule applies to determine local versus travel rate eligibility
