American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with acute care OR experience and an active NJ or Compact RN license for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• CVOR unit performing adult open heart and general cases when no hearts are scheduled
• Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other weekend (Sat/Sun) required
• On-call twice a week and every third weekend
• Floating to general OR required
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1.5 years of current acute care OR experience required
• Must be able to circulate; scrub experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Must work or be on call for 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning for a travel assignment
