Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a fast-paced Level 2 trauma CCU requiring strong cardiac experience and AR or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Acute care ICU setting within a high-acuity CV service line (CCU)
• Level 2 trauma center
• Handles all cardiovascular cases except transplants
• Uses Cerner EMR, transitioning to EPIC in November 2026
• Day shift schedule, 7a-7p, every other weekend
• 36 hours per week over 3 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment length
• 12 hours of orientation provided

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong cardiac nursing experience required
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility

Additional Information

• Work in an extremely busy, fast-paced cardiovascular ICU environment with the highest acuity in the area
• Provide direct patient care in the highest acuity area within the cardiovascular service line
• First-time travelers may be considered
