American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring NIHSS certification and prior acute inpatient RN experience.

Details

Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
Night shift, 6:45 PM-7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, three days per week
Every other weekend required
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Perform patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of clinical interventions
Provide patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, functioning as a mentor/preceptor
Support teamwork, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts
