American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU/Step-Down RN for a night shift travel position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and prior ICU experience.

Details

• Work in an 8-bed ICU/Step-Down unit
• Patient ratios of 1 to 2-3
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirements vary based on unit needs
• Floating required to MSU or other units as a resource
• EPIC EMR used

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• PALS preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU and Step-Down experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to ICU and Step-Down patients
• Christmas holiday coverage required
• Scrub color must be solid, any color, with no prints allowed
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local, with adjusted bill rates
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this upon consideration
