American Traveler is hiring a RN for an Urgent Care position requiring an active AK license and 2 years of urgent care experience within the last 2 years.

Details

• Ambulatory care clinic setting within an Urgent Care Department
• Urgent care hours are 8am-8pm with shifts varying across days and hours
• 26-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license required at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience required, within the last 2 years
• Proof of flu vaccine required
• Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Responsible for overall clinic operations including opening and closing provider clinics
• Provides clinical services alongside providers and clinic staff to ensure quality patient care
• Maintains medication inventory and supplies, and performs quality control checks on point-of-care tests
• Documents all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner
• Communicates effectively across departments to support providers and patients
• Maintains skill sets, annual competencies, and certifications through ongoing education and training
• Adheres to infection control policies and maintains a clean, safe working environment
• Start date will be no earlier than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received and processed
• Agency is responsible for assisting travelers with housing and transportation needs
