Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift assignment requiring MD or compact RN licensure and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• MS/Tele unit setting with ED boarder patients
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
• At least 1 previous travel assignment required
• Strong MS/Tele clinical experience required
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Driver's license required at time of consideration, with address matching for local status determination

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care, including monitoring of ED boarder patients
• Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
• Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
