American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pre-Op Outpatient Surgery position requiring a compact or OK RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

• Adult Outpatient Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Pre-op nursing role
• Schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week, 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• No weekend or major holiday shifts required

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex
• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to treatments and interventions
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines, requiring prompt completion of onboarding documentation
• Returning workers may extend a contract only once for a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
