Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool night shift position requiring a CT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Float pool position covering Medical/Surgical units
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system
• SBAR communication system utilized
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30, with 36-hour shifts available
• 8 week assignment length
• Every other weekend coverage required

Requirements

• Active CT or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Med/Surg skills including blood product administration required
• Peripheral line and PICC line care/management experience required
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs required
• Experience with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management required
• Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge required
• Charting system experience required
• References required for consideration
• Copy of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical/Surgical units as part of a float pool team
• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy duties
• Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local and accepted at a lower bill rate
