American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel contract requiring 18 months of L&D experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit setting
• NOC shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• Uses Meditech charting system
• No on-call requirements
• Float required to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on department rotation

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of L&D experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certification required to start
• ACLS certification preferred

Additional Information

• Interview process includes an interview with the Nurse Manager
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
