American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Access RN for a home care IV Nursing position requiring PICC and mid-line placement experience and ICU or ER background.

Details

• Provides vascular access nursing care in a patient's home setting through Johns Hopkins Care at Home
• Assesses patients' need for vascular access devices and determines appropriate device type, placement location, and line safety
• Performs ultrasound-guided placement of peripheral lines, midline catheters, and PICC lines in a clinic setting
• Assists with troubleshooting vascular access issues and provides expert guidance to team members on device management
• Rotates between two campus locations
• Works Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• 36 hours per week with weekend on-call rotation
• On-call coverage required Saturday and Sunday for one campus location
• On-call includes holiday coverage as needed with a 30-minute callback response time

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 2 years ICU or ER experience required
• Mid-line and PICC placement experience required
• PICC certification preferred
• Infusion experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a working vehicle required
• Must comply with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use
