American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics LPN with 1+ year of clinic experience for a busy outpatient pediatric clinic seeing patients from birth to 18 years.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric clinic setting with 45 exam rooms and an average daily census of 130 patients
• Patient population ranges from neonates to 18 years old
• Common visits include well child checks, vaccines, ADHD management, sick visits, and respiratory issues like RSV, as well as some special needs and autistic patients
• Typical caseload of about 12 patients per session (AM and PM)
• Assigned to a specific hallway working alongside providers in that area rather than a single provider
• Uses EPIC EMR (experience preferred) and point-of-care testing equipment
• Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 0745-1815
• No weekend rotation, on-call responsibilities, holiday requirements, or floating

Requirements

• Active LPN, RN, or CMA license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• CMAs must be certified through an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required
• Peds experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable administering vaccines to children and performing phlebotomy
• Skilled in rooming patients, reviewing health histories, collecting vitals, and reviewing allergies
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Support team includes Patient Service Reps, a Clinic Supervisor, an RN Lead, 48 residents, 5 MDs, and 5 APPs
• Orientation includes NEO and up to 15 days of unit orientation, with up to 5 days spent in each area utilized
• Will not be assigned to the Asthma Clinic or Healthy Future Clinic areas
• Scrub color for LPNs is gray

• Local candidates not accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
