American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Women's Center (L&D) leadership role requiring a BSN and 5 years of RN experience with 2 years in management.

Details

• Acute care setting within a Women's Center (Labor & Delivery) unit
• Director-level leadership role overseeing Women's Care operations
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Primarily works Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Department operates 24/7, requiring occasional evening or weekend availability for calls
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• 5 years of RN experience with 2 years of management/leadership experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications preferred
• Must provide a copy of unexpired driver's license for consideration
• Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing overall operations of nursing and patient care areas
• Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards across all patient age groups from infant to geriatric
• Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI initiatives
• Assures competency of nursing personnel
• Assists with budget formulation and maintains efficient departmental operations
• Ensures compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations and standards
• Must reside within a 100-mile radius of the facility
