American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with CA licensure and scrub/circulate experience in cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Scrub and circulate role supporting a wide range of surgical specialties including cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Any EMR/charting system experience accepted
• 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times (7a, 9a, 11a, 1p)
• Rotating weekends required
• Overtime support may be needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Experience in cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology surgical services required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required

Additional Information

• Provide direct and indirect surgical patient care using comprehensive assessment, care planning, and evaluation processes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic, individualized care
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Max RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
