American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with at least 1 year of IR experience for a 4x10 day shift assignment requiring call and weekend coverage.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit performing procedures including bronchoscopy, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements of 1-2 days per week plus 1 weekend per month
• Floating required within facility scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed
• 1:4 patient ratio
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with vascular studies/procedures including carotid stenting, central venous access/port placement, endovascular interventions, stent graft placement, and angiography preferred
• Experience with gastrointestinal procedures such as chemoembolization, paracentesis, and percutaneous hepatic angiography preferred
• Experience with pulmonary procedures including chest tube placement, lung biopsy, and thoracentesis preferred
• Experience with genitourinary procedures such as nephrostomy, renal angiography, and renal artery stent placement preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Copies of all listed certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this unit
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, and all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO can be requested during orientation week
• Holiday coverage required based on how many of the 6 major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day) fall within the assignment period
• No schedule changes or alternate shift requests permitted once assigned
• Full compliance required prior to start date to avoid a two-week delay due to biweekly orientation scheduling
• Previous Piedmont employees must be separated from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
