American Traveler is hiring an RN Navigator (Renal Pre-Transplant Coordinator) with recent kidney transplant coordination experience and a compact or state-specific RN license for a Monday-through-Friday day shift assignment.

Details

• Renal Transplant unit within a hospital setting
• Manages clinical evaluation, diagnostic workup, and UNOS waitlist for kidney transplant candidates
• Coordinates diagnostic testing, labs, and multi-specialty consults
• Presents candidate cases at weekly Multidisciplinary Selection Committee meetings
• Maintains UNOS/OPTN candidate status updates and annual re-evaluations for CMS compliance
• 36-40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
• No on-call, holiday, or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (State-specific or Compact/eNLC)
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• CCTC certification preferred
• 2+ years of recent clinical transplant coordinator experience in a CMS/UNOS-approved kidney transplant program
• Hands-on EMR experience with Epic (Phoenix module preferred) or Cerner Organ Transplant software

Additional Information

• Educate transplant candidates and families on the evaluation process and waitlist requirements
• Serve as primary clinical liaison to referring dialysis centers and nephrologists
• Collaborate with transplant nephrologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
