Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU/Coronary Care position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

Requirements

• Active RN license, single state or CO compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all AHA-issued and not expiring prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy to patients
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with firm documentation deadlines
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
