American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week community hospital assignment requiring critical care/Cath Lab experience and a NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Community-based hospital in an urban setting with 351 licensed beds
• Cath Lab department handling 5-15 cases per day
• Patient population includes Impella, IVUS, OCT, IABP, and RFR procedures
• 10-hour day shifts, 7a-5:30p, 40 hours per week
• Rotating on-call shifts including weekdays 1730-0700 and weekends/holidays 7a-7a
• Weekend rotation every 5th weekend
• Holiday on-call rotation required
• No floating required
• 3-person call team consisting of RN, RT, and RCIS in any combination
• Uses EPIC EMR and Hemosystem Hemodynamic Monitoring equipment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years critical care/Cath Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Skills in dysrhythmias, moderate sedation, and perivascular cases required
• Knowledge of vascular cases required
• High acuity STEMI case experience preferred
• Minimum 12 months core experience in unit specialty within the last year
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
