Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum/Nursery position requiring an active HI RN license and at least 3 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Rotate across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
• L&D unit has 8 labor beds and Postpartum unit has 18 beds
• Variable day and night shifts with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly following the first week of orientation
• Scheduled 12-hour call required at least once per month
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Uses Meditech computerized charting system
• Uses GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications recommended

Additional Information

• Provide care for laboring mothers, assist with delivery, and deliver immediate newborn and postpartum care
• Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, typically requiring arrival by the Thursday before a Monday start date
• COVID-19 vaccination required
