American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown/PCU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 13-week assignment on a 19:00-07:30 night shift schedule
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) coverage required
• Placement on a PCU or Med-Surg/Tele unit based on the traveler's skill set and facility need
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Stepdown (PCU) specialty exam and skills checklist required for consideration
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates but potentially at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
