Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN with 2-3 years of high-volume cardiovascular OR experience to support complex adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.

Details

• Work in a CVOR with 9 OR suites, including 2 hybrid rooms
• Level 1 Trauma Center, Burn Center, and VAD/Transplant Center environment
• Supports adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures
• Facility performs heart transplants, Heartmate III, Impella, and ECMO procedures
• Da Vinci robot used for thoracic surgeries
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 17:00
• On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (must be AHA)
• 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume CVOR center with complex open-heart cases required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required for all licensed professionals

Additional Information

• Must reside within the facility's radius rule area to qualify for local candidacy, though local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
