American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with DaVinci Xi Robot and liver transplant experience for a Level 1 Trauma center operating room position.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Variable shift schedule including days and evenings, with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• On-call required Monday-Friday 2100-0630, and Saturday/Sunday coverage 0630-1900 and 1900-0630
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
• Must be able to scrub in for surgical procedures

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Certifications required: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma center experience required
• Experience with DaVinci Xi Robot and liver transplant surgery required
• Experience in Neuro or Ortho service lines required
• Preferred experience in Eyes, ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns
• EPIC charting experience required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties including gynecology, plastics, trauma, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, robotics, urology, and ENT
• Support transplant surgeries including heart, kidney, liver, lung, and organ donation cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible for travel positions
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager or director-level leader and the second from a manager/director or charge RN; coworker references not accepted
• RTO must be submitted with the contract and built in, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict processing timelines
