American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN with 2 years of PICU experience and CICU exposure for a rotating shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Rotating day and night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:00 or 19:00-7:00
• Floating required within the hospital, including to CICU (CVPICU) and potentially to the Liberty campus
• Blocked scheduling available only if willing to work every weekend (Fri-Sun)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience with CICU exposure required
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
• Copies of nursing certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Minimum of 2 holidays required to be worked during the assignment
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total
• Full vaccination required with no exceptions
• Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day of assignment, with results potentially impacting employment
• Previous CCHMC employees are ineligible to apply for 1 year from their termination date
• First-time travelers will be considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to local pay rates
