American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Wound/Ostomy Care specialist with wound care certification and recent specialty experience for a Med/Surg unit.

Details

Wound Ostomy/Continence unit within a hospital setting
8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
40 guaranteed hours per week
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience within wound/ostomy specialty required
Current AHA BLS certification required
CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification required for the WOC Nurse role
Wound care certification required (WCC, CWS, or CWCN); ostomy certification optional

Additional Information

Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
