Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cath Lab position requiring CA RN licensure and previous Cath Lab experience, including weekday and weekend call coverage.

Details

• Cath Lab unit setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekday and weekend call coverage required, generally 6-7 shifts within a 4-week period

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Certifications must be issued by AHA or ARC
• 2 professional references obtained within the past year required

Additional Information

• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to be eligible for the local rate
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday RTO request approved per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Holiday periods begin at 7:00 PM the night before and end at 7:00 AM the day after the holiday
• Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
