American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion position requiring active MA licensure and ambulatory oncology experience.

Details

• Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion unit providing chemotherapy administration and related oncology care
• 13-week assignment with a schedule of 08:00-16:30
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• 1-2 years of ambulatory oncology experience required
• ONS chemo/immunotherapy certificate required
• OCN certification required within 2 years of hire or after 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required, BSN preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide patient-centered care including chemotherapy administration, patient education, care planning, symptom management, and coordination of outpatient services
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to address complex care needs of cancer patients and caregivers
• Practice according to ANA and ONS standards of care
• Reports to the Clinical Nursing Manager of the Cancer Center
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston and will receive a reduced rate
