American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion position requiring ambulatory oncology experience and ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification.

Details

• Outpatient Cancer Center Infusion unit providing chemotherapy administration and oncology care
• Day shift schedule from 08:00-16:30
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required, BSN preferred
• 1-2 years of ambulatory oncology experience required
• ONS chemo/immunotherapy certificate required
• OCN certification required within 2 years of hire or 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Outpatient chemo infusion experience required
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Provide patient-centered care including chemotherapy administration, patient education, care planning, symptom management, and coordination of outpatient services
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to address complex care needs of cancer patients and their caregivers
• Practice according to ANA and ONS standards of care
• Report to the Clinical Nursing Manager of the Cancer Center
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates permitted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
