American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a Cardiovascular OR position requiring travel experience and the ability to both scrub and circulate on complex cardiac and thoracic cases.

Details

• CVOR unit setting on 4x10 day shifts, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Requires mandatory scrubbing and circulating on cases including CABGs, valve replacements, aneurysms, and thoracic procedures such as robotic lobectomies and TAVRs
• On-call requirement of 1-2 overnight shifts per week and 1-2 weekend shifts per month
• Floating within the hospital may be required based on patient care needs

Requirements

• Active Washington (WA) or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Required AHA certifications
• EPIC charting experience required

Additional Information

• Perform both scrubbing and circulating duties for a range of complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases
• Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours to complete
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs are accepted
