American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring critical care pressor titration skills and a 75-mile radius restriction for eligibility.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Cares for chronically ill patients requiring ventilation and complex medication management
• Common diagnoses include hypertensive urgency, sepsis, and CVA
• May float to receive Surgical or Cardiac ICU patients when no other bed is available
• Unit designated for COVID-positive patients
• Uses MEDITECH as the charting system
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• 12-hour shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• BSN not required for this position
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience titrating pressors and managing IV drugs for critically ill patients required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to medically complex, critically ill patients
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for placement
• Not eligible for placement if previously employed by the facility within the last 12 months
• 16 hours of orientation provided
