American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Acute Dialysis for an outpatient dialysis unit, requiring a WI or compact RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification.

• 36-hour work week on day shift

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Education verification required for consideration
• Prior dialysis nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care
• Document care according to established standards
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians, including patient and family instruction
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities, potentially including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patients' longitudinal plans of care
• Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
