American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PreOp position requiring active CA RN licensure and recent ambulatory surgery/phase II experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the PreOp unit of an 81-bed facility
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required
• 7-year work history verification required for consideration

• Deliver holistic, individualized nursing care including patient assessment, education, and care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and manage optimal patient care plans
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Holiday coverage may be required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only 1 holiday RTO request approved per contract
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Returning employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
