American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PreOp position requiring ICU or ED experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Work in the PreOp unit of a hospital, preparing and recovering patients for procedural care
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM), Monday through Friday
• No weekend or holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic EMR; more than one year of Epic experience preferred, otherwise instructor-led Epic training will be required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required in hand
• ICU or ED experience required
• Nursys report required, pulled within the last two weeks
• Less than 2 years of experience may be accepted

Additional Information

• Provide preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery care in a procedural setting
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• RTO limited to no more than 3 days, with none permitted during the first or last week of the contract
• Former UChicago Medicine, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have been separated for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
• Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be submitted at time of application and discussed during the interview; requests made after offer acceptance will not be honored
