American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit night shift assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and telemetry experience.

Details

• Cardiovascular Care Unit within a hospital setting
• 32-bed unit with an average of 3-5 patients per nurse depending on acuity and shift
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 1900-0730
• Weekend requirement of up to 8 shifts within an 8-week period, typically 5-6
• No scheduled on-call shifts, though may be placed on call at the start of a shift if not needed
• Uses Epic for documentation and UKG Pro/Kronos for timekeeping and scheduling
• Floating to other departments based on business need and date-based assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA, non-expiring prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or higher-acuity RN experience required
• EKG competency and rhythm interpretation skills required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further care as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Contract length of 13 weeks or more
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible for this assignment
